I wanted to post some pictures of things past. During our Guarani class, Allison cooked on a wood fire for a couple of weeks. She came up with some creative dishes that we were able to share with the Paraguayans around us. Our neighbors were convinced that we didn't know how to start a fire. I tried to get it going before anyone saw me, but they did and came over to show me how to start the fire. That's just the way it is. You have to be a learner.
The pictures below were taken before Allison had Gabriela. This is the local hospital for the area. No need for lawnmowers or weed eaters here. These cows seem to always be around. We drive through this town to get from our house to Asuncion and I almost always have to drive around or wait for these cows to move out of the road. Anyway, I thought you might like the pictures.
